Drawing gives me a direct way to explore gesture, movement, shape, and character. I’m especially drawn to the figure and often find inspiration in fashion poses, where attitude, proportion, and silhouette can say so much with very little. I also draw still life and other subjects, using line and simple marks to observe, simplify, and experiment. These works allow me to work freely, follow an idea, and see where the drawing itself might lead.
