I’m drawn to painting the people, places, and objects that catch my attention in everyday life. Whether I’m working with a figure, a landscape, or a still life, I look for strong shapes, clear color relationships, and the way light organizes a scene. I’m less interested in describing every detail than in finding the essential relationships of color, value, gesture, and movement that give a painting its life.
