I love working in watercolor and gouache for their immediacy and directness. Whether I’m painting a landscape, still life, figure, animal, or something as simple as a pair of chairs, I’m always looking for the larger shapes, color relationships, and patterns of light that make the subject come alive. These works give me the freedom to simplify what I see, respond quickly, and explore color and design without getting caught up in unnecessary detail.
